Ībout Keystone: Raven Black hunts evildoers for fun, but her vigilante justice isn’t the only reason she’s hiding from the law. Source: Info in the About Three Mages And A Margarita was taken from GoodReads at on. So what's a broke girl to do? Take the job, of course - with a pay raise. Either I'm exactly the kind of takes-no-shit bartender this guild needs, or there's a good reason no one else wants to work here. ![]() And the three cocky guys I drenched with a margarita during my trial? Yeah, they were mages. That's the definition of fitting in, right? Their customers were complete jerks, and I was an asshole right back. It went downhill the moment they asked for a trial shift instead of an interview - to see if I'd mesh with their "special" clientele. Those are my official reasons for answering a wanted ad for a skeevy-looking bartender gig. About Three Mages And A Margarita: Broke, almost homeless, and recently fired. ![]()

Melanie harlow tie me down6/6/2023 ![]() ![]() I loved how everything came full circle in this, and the story centers on permanent connections, found families, and letting love in. ![]() ![]() As the two tentatively cross the line from friends to lovers, Maddie’s temporary status in town is a constant reminder that nothing lasts forever. Turns out, Beckett still has the same feelings for Maddie that his teenage self did, but now he’s got the confidence to do something about it. But when Beckett’s high school crush and longtime friend, Maddie, comes to stay at the family home, it’s like no time has passed at all. Beckett’s father is battling dementia and his health is failing, so it’s not like he’s got time to date anyways. While he’s happy that his buddies have found lasting love, he doesn’t believe that the odds are in his favor to find that for himself. ![]() The story follows Beckett, the final single guy in his group of friends. I still loved a significant amount of it, but this one is missing the swoons for me. It’s STEAMY and angsty with some heartfelt moments, but I can’t help feeling that the lust and longing overshadowed the emotional connection. This childhood friends to lovers romance features a sexy and stubborn hero who just can’t seem to get his head out of his… you know. I love how each book had its own vibe, yet there are so many commonalities that tie everything together. This is my least favorite of the four, but the bar is set VERY high, so I can’t be too upset about that. It’s a bittersweet goodbye – I’m sad to see this group of guy friends go, because every book in this series has been great. ![]() |
